I hope over the coming months those of you who follow these podcasts will not only get an insight into the minds of two photographers but hopefully improve on techniques, challenge ideas and change perceptions on why and how photography is undertaken by yourself and those you may come across in life.

I don’t profess to be a genius at anything, I’m just me. During the next few recordings I hope you will learn more about me as a photographer and what got me interested in taking it seriously. I am a fairly solitary person in my everyday life and this helps me concentrate on the photography that interests me.

I am just nearing the end of a 3yr BA (Hons) Degree in Contemporary Photographic Practice at the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, UK. I also do some freelance photography work on top of my personal projects when time allows.

With regards to my chosen genre of photography I really have none. I like, no I love, all styles and genres. Portraiture, Abstract, Landscape, Street, Architecture, Black & White, Digital and Analogue (Film). I currently use a Canon Digital as well as a Polaroid 600 and 2 medium format film cameras.

I have a few goals I am working towards. Most importantly is to have my own small contemporary photographic art gallery to showcase mine and also works of photographers and artists from across the world. Secondly I am working towards more travelling and documenting Life As I See It.

Thanks for joining us here and remember to spread the word and bring your friends and contacts to listen to the podcasts.

Happy shooting….

John

Introduction

By Levi Moore

Hello, Levi here.

I’ve been wanting to do a podcast on/about photography for a while and because of this I brought it up to my good friend John Nelson, who will be the co-host for the show. With much enthusiasm John agreed to do the show with me and the rest, as they say, is history. We’re looking to talk about/chat about/discuss as may different topics concerning photography as we can think of and know anything about, from personal techniques to equipment preferences and reviews to how we’re doing our current projects to anything else we can come up with. We want a casual, entertaining yet informative podcast that people will enjoy and want to come back to. We’re not yet sure how this will all go but we’re willing to learn and have fun and most willing to hear any future feedback from our audience. Who knows, in time we might even be answering your questions on the air.
