Randy Orton continues to show his inability to realize how to be a wrestler. How you manage to be around this business for your whole life and still not understand the psychology of a match. Suspension of disbelief, suspended Orton, mission unsuccessful.

Great review of the promo. I think both companies were shocked, but I would say New Japan Pro Wrestling was taken aback. For a while, Ring of Honor was seen as a farm ground for guys who would eventually go to either WWE or TNA, so this may not be a big surprise to them compared to NJPW. Outside of Yoshi Tatsu (Naofumi Yamamoto) being in the company, WWE doesn't bring up the existence of other organizations (let alone Puro companies) like in the past when they used to run shows with All Japan Pro Wrestling. You're also right about the trend. As of the last few years, when people leave WWE (The Rock, Tommy Dreamer, Chris Jericho, Jeff Hardy, Edge, etc.) they usually have a hellish run before the curtain call. It'll be interesting if this results in CM Punk's renewal and a fierce title reign. But we'll have to wait and see.

All you really missed was me in the chatroom saying "I knew it!!" That dude isn't going anywhere. However, I think (I cannot exactly remember now) there was some booing in the background. Especially when he laid out The Miz, CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio to end the show.
